SDI Claim: Hung up on Spanish line, need help reaching English-speaking agent

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my SDI claim. I tried calling the Spanish line but ended up hanging up. Now I want to try again in English. Has anyone else had issues with the language options when calling? Any tips on how to get through to an English-speaking agent?

I found a way to solve SDI claim language line issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y96gnuXrFz8

Ugh, I feel ya. The whole system is a mess. I've been trying to get through for weeks now. Have you tried calling right when they open? Sometimes that works for me.

Calling when they open is hit or miss for me. I've had better luck calling around 2 PM. Less traffic then, I think.

Really? 2 PM? I'll have to try that. Thanks for the tip! 👍

I found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

Yeah, it's legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦‍♂️

I get it, but think about how much time you waste on hold. For me, it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Have you tried using the online portal? Sometimes you can avoid calling altogether if you navigate the website carefully.

Pro tip: if you accidentally get the Spanish line, just say "English please" and they'll usually transfer you. No need to hang up and start over!

I swear, dealing with SDI is like playing the lottery. You never know what youre gonna get. One day youre talking to the most helpful person ever, the next its like talking to a brick wall. Keep trying, OP. You'll get through eventually!

Here's what I've learned after months of dealing with SDI: 1. Be persistent. Call multiple times if needed. 2. Have all your info ready before you call. 3. Be polite but firm with the agents. 4. Keep a log of who you talked to and when. 5. If one agent can't help, politely ask to speak to a supervisor. 6. Use the online portal for simple issues. 7. Consider using a paid service like Claimyr if you're really stuck. Hope this helps! Don't give up, OP. You've got this! 💪
