Trouble reaching Spanish-speaking SDI agent - Any tips?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Spanish SDI claim. Has anyone else had issues getting through to a Spanish-speaking agent? I've been trying for days and it's so frustrating. Any tips or advice would be really appreciated!

I found a way to solve Spanish SDI claim agent issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bE0_PLKGXbU

Ugh, I feel your pain! The SDI system is a nightmare rn. I've been trying to get through for weeks. Have you tried calling right when they open? Sometimes that works for me.

Thanks for the tip! I've tried that a few times, but no luck so far. It's like they're purposely making it hard for us šŸ˜«

Same boat here. The Spanish line seems even worse than the English one. Keep trying tho, you'll get through eventually!

Have you tried using the online portal? Sometimes its easier to get help there, especially for language specific stuff.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work for Spanish speakers?

Yep, it worked for me! They have options for different languages, including Spanish. Saved me hours of frustration.

$20 tho? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone... šŸ˜’

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time on hold. Plus, I needed to sort out my claim ASAP.

Pro tip: if you have a friend or family member who speaks english fluently, sometimes its easier to get through on the English line and then ask for a Spanish interpreter. Worked for me last month!

That's actually a great idea! I'll see if my cousin can help me out. Gracias! šŸ™

The whole system is broken af. We shouldn't have to jump through hoops just to get basic help. Anyone know if there's like a complaint line or ombudsman we can contact about this?

Hey OP, I've been through this rodeo before. Here's what I've learned: ā€¢ Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. ā€¢ Try different times of day. Early morning or late afternoon can sometimes be less busy. ā€¢ Use the online portal for simple questions if possible. ā€¢ If you get through to an English speaker, ask for a Spanish interpreter. They're required to provide one. ā€¢ Document everything. Write down who you talked to, when, and what they said. ā€¢ If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes intervene on your behalf. Hang in there. I know it's frustrating, but you'll get it sorted eventually!
