SDI Benefits Call Wait Time - How Long for Pacific Time Zone?
Hey everyone, I'm waiting for my disability benefits call. Anyone know how long it usually takes to get through? I'm on Pacific time and wondering if I'll hear back today.

Ugh, the waiting game with disability benefits is the worst! I've been there, buddy. It can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on how busy they are. Hang in there!

Damn, a month? That's insane! Have you tried calling them directly instead of waiting for a callback?

Pro tip: They usually operate during business hours, so 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time. If you don't hear back today, they'll probably try again on the next business day. Good luck!

I found a method to get someone on the phone quickly. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

Yep, 100% legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

I get it, but think about how much time you waste on hold. For me, it was totally worth it to skip the headache

Here's my experience with disability benefits calls: ā¢ They're usually swamped, especially on Mondays and Fridays ā¢ Best time to call is mid-week, mid-day ā¢ Have all your info ready when they call (claim number, dates, etc.) ā¢ Be patient and polite, the reps are dealing with a lot ā¢ If you miss their call, you might have to start the process over Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Has anyone heard about the new online portal they're supposedly rolling out? Wonder if that'll make things easier or just add another layer of confusion š¤

Quick question - are you applying for SDI or SSI? The wait times can be pretty different depending on which one youre dealing with

Oh, good point! I'm applying for SDI. Should've mentioned that in the original post, my bad.

Gotcha. SDI is usually a bit quicker than SSI, so that's good news for you!
