EDD payment only 1/4 of normal amount for 3 days instead of 2 weeks - need help ASAP!

Ugh, that sucks! I've been dealing with EDD for months now and it's always something. Have you tried calling them? It's a nightmare to get through, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

have u checked ur account online? sometimes they post updates there before sending out notices

I'm in the same boat, OP. My payment was also messed up this week. I think there might be a glitch in their system or something.

This happened to me last month. Turns out they had some outdated info on file. Once I got through to someone and updated my info, they fixed it pretty quick. Keep trying to reach them!

edd is such a joke tbh. they need to completely overhaul the system

Have you considered applying for other assistance programs while you sort this out? Food banks or local charities might be able to help in the meantime.

idk if this helps but I had a similar issue and it turned out my employer had reported my wages incorrectly. Might be worth checking with them too
