EDD call transferred then dropped - now what? Tips for reaching a human?
So I was on the phone with them and they transferred me, but then the call dropped. Now I'm back at square one and have to call again. Anyone else deal with this? It's so frustrating to wait on hold forever only to get disconnected. What number are they even calling from? I'm worried I might miss it if they try to call back.

Ugh, been there done that. It's like they're playing phone tag with us, but we're the only ones actually trying to connect. π I've had calls drop so many times, I've lost count. It's ridiculous how broken their system is.

Pro tip: I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Yeah, they send you updates on the progress. When an agent picks up, you get a call from their number. Just make sure you answer it!

If they say they'll call back, ask for a specific timeframe 4. Keep detailed notes of every interaction 5. Be persistent - sometimes you have to call multiple times 6.
