EDD Form 2500A delay & 20+ days since last payment - When will I get paid?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out when I'll be getting my next payment. It's been about 20 days since my last one. I also need to know when Form 2500A will be available for me. Anyone else dealing with this? It's frustrating not knowing when I'll have money coming in.

Ugh, I feel ya. The waiting game is the worst. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes they can give you more specific info about your case.

•I've tried calling but keep getting stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating!

•Pro tip: call right when they open. You might have better luck getting through.

Form 2500A? Is that for disability? I remember having to wait for that too. It should be available online in your account once they process your claim. Keep checking daily!

20 days seems like a long time between payments. Are you on a special payment schedule or something? Most people I know get paid every two weeks.

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? 🤔

•It does! I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of hold time. Totally worth the $20 imo.

•Idk man, paying to talk to a government agency feels wrong. Shouldnt this be free?

•I get where youre coming from, but for me, time is money. I'd rather pay $20 than waste a whole day on hold.

Listen up, because I've been through this rodeo before. Here's what you need to know about Form 2500A and payment schedules: • Form 2500A is typically available 5-7 business days after your claim is processed • You can check its status in your online account under "Forms and Documents" • Payment schedules vary depending on your claim type (SDI, PFL, etc.) • Standard payment is usually bi-weekly, but can be delayed if there are issues with your claim • If it's been 20 days, there might be a hold on your account Your best bet is to: 1. Check your online account daily 2. Call first thing in the morning (8:00 AM sharp!) 3. Be prepared with your claim number and any relevant dates Hang in there, OP. The system's a mess, but you'll get through it! 💪

20 days?! *laughs in 3 months of waiting* 😭 But seriously, hope you get your payment soon. This system is so broken.

Anyone else feel like we need a complete overhaul of the entire unemployment/disability system? It's 2023 and we're still dealing with forms and long wait times like it's 1980. 🤦♂️

•Preach! 🙌 The whole thing is held together with duct tape and prayers at this point.

•For real. My grandma could design a better system, and she still uses a flip phone. 😂

Hey OP, have you checked if there are any local advocacy groups that can help? Sometimes they have insider knowledge or can escalate issues.
