EDD Benefits Payments Stopped - Need Help Extending Leave ASAP!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle here. I haven't gotten my benefits payments and I need to figure out how to extend my leave. Anyone been through this before? What's the process like? I'm getting pretty worried about making ends meet without these payments coming in.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Once you get through, ask them to backdate your claim if you've missed payments 7. Follow up regularly. Don't assume it's all good just cause you filed Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
