Debit card suddenly blocked - need urgent help to unblock!
My debit card just got blocked and I'm freaking out. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to get it unblocked quickly? I need to buy groceries and pay bills ASAP!

Ugh, been there done that. It's usually either a security issue or you entered the wrong PIN too many times. Call your bank ASAP and they should be able to sort it out for you.

•Pro tip: while ur waiting on hold with the bank, grab ur credit card (if u have one) for emergencies. Better than being stuck w/o any way to pay!

This happened to me last month. Turns out someone tried to use my card at a sketchy online store and the bank blocked it as a precaution. Definitely call them asap!

Have you tried using the bank's mobile app? Sometimes you can unblock your card right from there without having to call anyone.

I found a way to get someone on the phone quickly when my card was blocked. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works.
