If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Random question: has anyone here successfully transitioned from state to federal disability WITHOUT a gap in coverage? Is that even possible?

It's tough, but possible. You need to time your applications perfectly and hope for no delays. I managed it, but it was stressful af.

I had a small gap, like 2 weeks. Not ideal, but could've been worse I guess.

Just a heads up, the SSA has been SWAMPED lately due to COVID backlog. Expect longer wait times than usual. Stay patient and persistent!

Pro tip: if you get connected to the wrong department, ask them to transfer you directly instead of hanging up and calling again. Sometimes they can do an internal transfer that bypasses the main menu.

This happened to me last year. Turns out they had my old address and all the mail was getting returned. Double check your contact info is up to date!

Have you tried faxing your documents? I know it sounds ancient, but sometimes it gets through faster than mail or online submissions.

Faxing? What year is it? 😂 But seriously, I'll try anything at this point. Thanks for the suggestion!

Here's what worked for me: 1. Call exactly at 8:00 AM when they open 2. If you get the 'too many callers' message, hang up and redial immediately 3. Keep doing this until you get into the queue 4. Once in the queue, DO NOT HANG UP no matter how long the wait 5. Have all your info ready when you finally get through It took me about 20 attempts over 3 days, but I finally got through. Stay persistent!

This is solid advice. I'd add: use a phone with a good speaker so you can multitask while on hold. And maybe have a backup battery/charger handy!

Anyone else notice that the hold music is like psychological warfare? I swear I hear it in my nightmares now 😅

Pro tip: If you can, go to their office in person. Sometimes face-to-face interaction can solve problems that seem impossible over the phone or fax.

Have you tried reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help cut through the red tape.
