FAFSA website showing blank pages after processing for triplets - can't see SAI or complete signatures

I'm having the strangest issue with my triplet daughters' FAFSA applications. Two of them show as 'processed' with the congratulations message, but when I click on 'My FAFSA submission summary,' it's completely blank! No SAI score, no information at all except the checklist and that statement saying the form was processed. For my third daughter, it shows an incomplete signature issue. When I click the signature button to fix it, that page is blank too! I tried submitting a complaint through the site, but guess what? Clicking 'submit a complaint' leads to another blank page! Has anyone else dealt with these blank pages on studentaid.gov? I'm worried they won't be considered for aid if I can't see or confirm their SAI scores.

Yep, I've been dealing with this exact problem with my son's application. Blank pages everywhere on the site since last Thursday. I called the Federal Student Aid line but couldn't get through after being on hold for 45 minutes. It's definitely a system-wide glitch. Some people in my son's facebook group are saying it might be a browser issue - have you tried using a different browser?

I'm relieved I'm not the only one! I've tried Chrome and Edge so far with the same blank pages. I'll try Firefox next. Did anyone in that Facebook group mention how long it took to resolve?

This is a known issue with the new FAFSA system. The problem is happening because of high volume and some technical bugs in their rollout. A few things to try: 1. Clear your cache and cookies completely 2. Try logging in during off-peak hours (early morning or late night) 3. Use an incognito/private browsing window 4. If possible, try a completely different device For the daughter with the signature issue, that's actually a separate problem. You'll need to create a save key, log out completely, and then log back in with that save key to access the signature page.

Thank you for these suggestions! I just tried the incognito window and it's still showing blank pages. I'll try the other tips tonight when website traffic might be lower. I created a save key for my third daughter but even with that, the signature page is still blank when I log back in. So frustrating!

omg i had this EXACT same problem with my twins!! what fixed it for me was waiting 3 days and then going back in. the system has to like "catch up" with itself or something. the FSA ID verification system is totally separate from the actual FAFSA system and they dont talk to each other in real time. super annoying but just wait a few days and check again

Really? That's so strange but good to know! I'll try to be patient and check again in a few days. Did your twins' SAI scores appear automatically after that waiting period or did you have to do anything else?

This is unfortunately a common technical issue with the 2025-2026 FAFSA system. The blank pages are happening because of synchronization problems between the front-end interface and the database. Here's what you need to know: 1. Your applications ARE still being processed despite the blank pages 2. The SAI calculation takes approximately 3-5 business days AFTER processing 3. For the incomplete signature, you should receive an email notification when the system is ready for you to complete it As for seeing the actual information, I recommend checking both the message center and your email daily. Many people are finding their SAI and other details are being sent via message/email instead of displaying properly on the dashboard.

hey that's actually super helpful to know the applications are still processing! i literally thought mine were just disappearing into the void lol

I swear the FAFSA website is pure garbage every single year! I've been helping students with financial aid for 5 years and EVERY SINGLE ROLLOUT has major issues. For 2023 it was the parent contributions, 2024 it was the login system, and now 2025 it's blank pages. They had 12 months to prepare for this and still messed it up. Complete incompetence.

It really is frustrating! I don't understand why they can't get these issues fixed before launching the system each year. My oldest is now graduated, so I've been through several FAFSA cycles, but this is by far the worst experience.

I was having the same problem trying to reach someone at Federal Student Aid about my blank pages issue. After trying for days, I started using Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get through to an actual person. They have this service that holds your place in line and calls you when an agent is ready to talk. Saved me hours of hold time! They have a video showing how it works here: https://youtu.be/TbC8dZQWYNQ The agent I spoke with confirmed it's a known issue and gave me a case number to reference. They said the blank pages should resolve within 7-10 days, but having that case number made me feel better about the whole thing.

Thanks for sharing this! I've been trying to get through for days. Did they charge you for the service?

Yes, there is a fee, but it was worth it for me not to spend hours on hold. I was able to keep working while waiting for their callback. The FSA agent told me they're seeing these blank page issues primarily with multiple students from the same household, which explains why it's happening with your triplets.

Have you checked if your browser is blocking popups? Sometimes the FAFSA summary and SAI information loads as a popup window. I had a similar issue and realized my popup blocker was preventing the information from displaying. Also, try checking if you have any browser extensions that might be interfering with the site functionality.

That's a great suggestion! I just checked and I do have popup blocking enabled. I'll try disabling it and see if that makes a difference. Thank you!

Just a quick update - my son's blank pages finally started showing actual information this morning. It took exactly 6 days from when we first saw the problem. No explanation, no email, it just suddenly started working. Maybe check yours again today?

That's encouraging! I just checked and two of them are still blank, but for my third daughter, the signature page is finally working! So maybe there's hope the others will resolve soon too. Did your son's SAI score appear as well?

After helping several students with similar issues, I wanted to add that you should also try downloading the FAFSA status information as a PDF. Sometimes the website displays blank pages but the PDF download still works. Look for a small download or print icon near where the summary should be. Also, check if your school's financial aid office can see the processed results - sometimes they receive the information even when parents/students can't see it on their end.

I didn't know about the PDF option! I just tried it and unfortunately the PDF is also blank for my two daughters with the "processed" status. I'll check with their university's financial aid office tomorrow to see if they can access the information. That would at least give me some peace of mind.
