How long do you have to be employed to receive Washington ESD unemployment benefits?

I'm trying to figure out if I qualify for unemployment benefits in Washington. I've been working at my current job for about 8 months but before that I had a 3 month gap where I wasn't working. Does Washington ESD look at just your most recent job or do they consider your entire work history? I'm worried I might not have worked long enough to qualify for UI benefits if I get laid off. Can someone explain how the employment requirements work?

Washington ESD looks at your base period which is typically the first 4 of the last 5 completed calendar quarters before you file your claim. You need to have earned wages in at least 2 quarters and meet minimum wage requirements. It's not about how long you worked at one job, but your total earnings during that base period.
