Can you get unemployment if you are fired in Washington - need help understanding eligibility
I got fired from my retail job last week for what my manager called 'performance issues' but I think it was really because I complained about unsafe working conditions. I've never filed for unemployment before and I'm confused about whether I can even get benefits if I was terminated. Some people are telling me you can't get unemployment if you're fired, but others say it depends on the reason. Does anyone know how Washington ESD handles this?
