The fact that you have photos and texts to your supervisor puts you ahead of a lot of people who try to appeal with no documentation at all. You've got a real shot at overturning this.
Final update from me - I submitted my appeal this morning with all my documentation organized chronologically like someone suggested. Photos, text messages, incident dates, everything. Now the waiting game begins. Thanks everyone for the advice and support!
Hope it works out! If you need to follow up on the status of your appeal, that Claimyr service can help you get through to someone at Washington ESD who can actually check on it.
UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Washington ESD using that Claimyr service someone mentioned. Turns out there was a flag on my account from a random quality review. Agent cleared it and said payment should process tomorrow. Would have never known without calling!
Last thing - take screenshots or photos of all your documents before you start the application. If something goes wrong with the upload process, you'll have backups ready to go.
Honestly the document gathering is the easy part. The real challenge is navigating Washington ESD's phone system when you need help. Save yourself the headache and use something like Claimyr if you run into issues. I wasted way too many hours trying to get through on my own.
I'm seeing Claimyr mentioned a few times in this thread. Seems like it's really helped people get through to Washington ESD when needed.
If you run into any roadblocks with Washington ESD during your claim period, there are resources to help. That Claimyr service people mentioned is one option, but there are also legal aid societies and workforce development programs that can assist.
This thread has been super informative! I'm bookmarking it for reference. The 26-week maximum is clear now, plus all the factors that could affect it.

The 8 months you mentioned should be plenty if you've been consistently earning decent wages. I've seen people qualify with less time if they had good earnings.

•That's reassuring! I think I'm probably okay then, but I'll definitely verify my wage history before filing.

•Smart approach. Better to be sure than to file prematurely and create complications.

Remember that if you do qualify, you'll need to file your weekly claims on time every week to keep getting benefits. Missing even one week can cause issues.

•Thanks for the heads up! I'll make sure to stay on top of that if I end up filing.
