If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

UPDATE: I tried the Claimyr service that @practical_solution suggested, and I actually got through to an agent! Took about 25 minutes of waiting instead of constant busy signals. The agent was able to reset my telephone PIN and I just filed my weekly claim by phone successfully. For anyone else with this issue - definitely write down your PIN somewhere safe once you get it. Apparently they mail it with your initial claim approval letter, but I must have missed that part. Thanks everyone for the help!

Great to hear you got it sorted out! Yes, that initial letter has a lot of information and it's easy to miss the PIN part, especially if you're planning to file online. For future reference, you can also request a PIN reset by sending a secure message through eServices once it's working again, but that takes a few days for them to process.

Lucky you got through! I might try that Claimyr thing next time the website crashes. Still think its ridiculous we have to jump through all these hoops just to file our claims. The system should just WORK!!

Don't forget that if you miss your filing deadline because of technical issues, you can request a back-date for "good cause." Document everything - screenshots of errors, times you called, etc. ESD is required to accept late filings if their systems were the cause of the delay.

Thanks for the reminder! I'll definitely keep detailed records of my job search activities no matter which state I end up filing with.

One more important thing to consider - once you determine which state to file in, you'll need to make sure you're following that state's weekly claim filing and job search requirements. Washington requires 3 job search activities per week that you must document and be ready to present if audited. They can deny benefits retroactively if you haven't been maintaining proper job search records. Also, when you apply with Washington ESD, be completely transparent about your Arkansas residency. Trying to hide that fact could lead to an overpayment determination later if they discover it.

I appreciate all the advice everyone! I'm going to check with HR first thing tomorrow about where they've been reporting my wages, and then file my claim with the appropriate state. I'll definitely be upfront about my living situation and make sure I follow all the job search requirements. Hopefully the process goes smoothly, but it's good to know about options like Claimyr if I run into trouble reaching ESD. I'll update here once I get things figured out in case it helps someone else in the future.

UPDATE: Finally got through to ESD (used that Claimyr service and it actually worked pretty well). The agent said it was a known glitch in their system! Apparently when standby is approved, sometimes the computer system doesn't properly update the weekly claim filing permissions. She fixed it in just a few minutes and I was able to file for the past two weeks I missed. She said the payments should process normally now. Thanks everyone for your help!

Great to hear you got it resolved! This is definitely a common glitch in their system. For anyone else reading this in the future - if you get approved for standby and can't file weekly claims, don't panic, just contact ESD directly to have them fix the permission settings on your account.

NOBODY KNOWS HOW ESD ACTUALLY WORKS!!! One week everything processes super fast, next week identical claim sits pending for days. One agent tells you one thing, another says completely opposite. It's all just random chaos and we're all just guessing!!!! 😫

While the system isn't perfect, there are actually specific reasons why claims might process differently from week to week. High-volume periods (like after holidays), system maintenance windows (usually Sundays), and claim-specific factors all play a role. If you're seeing inconsistent processing times regularly, it's worth asking an agent to check your specific claim details as there might be an account flag triggering additional reviews.

Thanks everyone for the helpful responses! Just wanted to update - the money actually hit my account early this morning (Wednesday), so it seems like the 'paid' status on Monday was indeed legitimate despite the holiday. The process was much faster than I expected!

Just to clarify a few things that have been mentioned: 1. Yes, file your claim and report all hours/earnings 2. ESD deducts 75% of your earnings from your weekly benefit amount 3. You should answer the job search questions accurately - if you consider yourself still looking for work (which makes sense given the pay cut), then answer accordingly 4. Your claim remains active for your benefit year 5. If your hours increase to full-time at this job, you'd be considered fully employed even if the pay is low Hope this helps clear up any confusion!

This is super helpful, thank you! I'll go ahead and file my final claim tonight and make sure to accurately report everything. Really appreciate everyone's guidance!
