If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Has anyone else noticed that these "glitches" seem to happen right before holiday weekends or at the end of quarters? I swear they do this on purpose to delay payments and save money. My claim showed adjudication briefly last December right before Christmas and then again at the end of March. Both times it disappeared but my payments were delayed by "processing issues" for a week each time.

While I understand your frustration, there's no evidence that ESD deliberately creates system glitches to delay payments. End-of-quarter and pre-holiday periods often involve system maintenance and updates, which can cause temporary display issues. These technical problems aren't targeted at claimants but are simply the result of outdated government IT infrastructure trying to handle complex benefit systems.

Update: I just called ESD about this issue (finally got through after trying for 3 days). The agent confirmed it's a known display issue in their system and said as long as the adjudication status disappears after logging out/back in and doesn't return, there's nothing to worry about. She said they're working on fixing it but no timeline for when it'll be resolved. Hope this helps others seeing the same problem!

Thank you so much for sharing this information! You saved me hours of trying to call them. My status has remained normal for the past 3 days now, so I'm thinking it was definitely just a display glitch. Really appreciate you following up!

This happens EVERY TIME they do system maintenance on their website!! I swear ESD does this on purpose to mess with us. Last time they did updates I didn't get paid for almost a week beyond normal. Their whole system is garbage and they don't care that people depend on this money for FOOD and RENT. So sick of this!!!

While frustrating, I don't think they're doing it on purpose. Government systems are just notoriously outdated. Remember how overwhelmed they were during the pandemic? They're still catching up. At least most people are reporting their payments are coming through now, just delayed.

Just wanted to update everyone - mine finally arrived this afternoon too. Looks like whatever issue they were having is getting resolved. So relieved!

Glad to hear it! This whole experience has me thinking I should keep a better emergency fund for these situations. Never know when there will be a delay.

my claim does this every week lol. it says web processing on sunday night then by tuesday it changes to paid and i get my money on wednesday. i think its just how the system works sometimes

0 coins

Not for everyone though! Mine got stuck for WEEKS and I ended up having to appeal because they said I didn't respond to some question that I NEVER RECEIVED. The system is broken!!

UPDATE: You guys were right! It just changed to 'paid' status this morning. The money isn't in my account yet but at least it's moving forward. Thanks everyone for the reassurance and advice!

Great news! The deposit typically takes 1-2 business days after the status changes to 'paid,' depending on your bank. Glad it worked out!

see told ya! :) the system is slow sometimes but usually works out

One additional piece of advice - make sure to continue filing your weekly claims during this process, but report all hours worked accurately. Even if you're working full-time, keep filing until ESD specifically tells you to stop. This ensures your claim stays active while they're processing everything, which is important if you need to appeal or request adjustments. It also shows good faith that you're trying to follow their procedures.

I didn't know I should keep filing even though I'm working full-time now. Thanks for that tip - I'll make sure to keep doing my weekly claims and just report my hours accurately.

did u have to pay any of that money back??? I heard they sometimes make u pay tax on it later or something???

0 coins

Yes, unemployment benefits are taxable income. I opted to have 10% withheld when I filed my weekly claims, but you'll still get a 1099-G form next year for tax filing. No other paybacks though as long as you reported everything correctly!

My situation is completely different but I'm on month 3 of adjudication for a stupid ID verification issue. This system is just ridiculous. So happy for you though! That's a nice chunk of change to finally get!

0 coins

Ugh the ID verification issues are the worst! Have you tried going to a WorkSource center in person? I heard they can sometimes help with those issues faster than waiting for ESD to figure it out. And thanks - yes, the money is literally saving me from eviction right now!
