The formula is: (Highest quarter wages × 0.0385) = Weekly benefit amount, but capped between $295-$999. You also need: 1) Earnings in at least 2 quarters, 2) Total base period wages ≥ 1.5 × highest quarter wages, 3) Total base period wages ≥ $3,850. Pretty straightforward once you know the rules.
Just remember that calculating your benefit amount is just the first step. You still need to meet all the ongoing requirements like job search activities, being available for work, and filing your weekly claims on time to actually receive the money.
Also remember that even if you get benefits, you'll have a one week waiting period where you don't get paid. Plan your finances accordingly.
I work part-time at two different jobs. Does that change anything about qualifying for unemployment if I lose one of them?
Thanks everyone for all this information! I feel much more confident about applying now. The Washington ESD website really is confusing but this thread cleared up most of my questions.
UPDATE: Just finished filing online! It took about 40 minutes like someone mentioned. The website was slow but didn't crash. Now I just wait to hear back. Thanks everyone for pushing me to do it today instead of putting it off!

One last thing - if you're getting direct deposit for back pay, make sure your bank doesn't flag the multiple deposits as suspicious activity. Mine temporarily froze my account because of 5 unemployment deposits in one day.

•Yeah it was a pain to sort out but calling the bank ahead of time would have prevented the whole mess.

•This happened to my friend too! Banks can be overly cautious with unemployment payments.

Update us when you get your back pay! It's always good to hear success stories and actual timelines from real people going through this process.
