Make sure you're checking both your regular email and any spam folders for messages from Washington ESD. Sometimes their emails end up in spam and people miss important notifications.
Bottom line - if you don't have any 'To Do' items showing up and your status is still processing, you're probably fine. Most claims that are going to have problems show warning signs pretty early in the process.
One last thing about getting help with Washington ESD - if you ever need to call them urgently about a payment issue, definitely consider using Claimyr. The regular phone lines are usually swamped, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays when people are filing their weekly claims.
For anyone still reading this - I found that Washington ESD also sends email reminders about filing your weekly claim if you sign up for notifications.
Whatever you do, don't trust the automated estimate when you first file. Mine was off by like $200/week and I didn't find out until I talked to an actual person.

This thread has been super helpful! I'm in a similar situation and was afraid to apply because I thought working any hours would disqualify me completely.

•Same here! I'm definitely going to apply now that I understand how it works.

•That's exactly what the partial benefit program is designed for - helping people stay afloat while working reduced hours. Good luck with your claims!

Quick question - does vacation pay or holiday pay count as earnings that need to be reported?

•Yes, any pay from your employer including vacation pay, holiday pay, or severance needs to be reported to Washington ESD.

•Thanks for clarifying! I wasn't sure about that.
