If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Been doing this for months now and my advice is just to be consistent. Same time every week, same routine, and keep good records of everything.

That sounds like solid advice. Consistency is probably key with government systems.

0 coins

Absolutely. The more organized you are, the fewer problems you'll have down the road.

One last tip - save confirmation numbers and screenshots after you certify. It's proof you completed your weekly claim on time if there are ever any questions.

0 coins

Great idea. I'll make sure to do that going forward.

0 coins

Yes, always keep records of your interactions with Washington ESD. Documentation is your friend.

0 coins

Just file it! Stop overthinking. I stressed about timing for days and it turns out it doesn't matter as much as I thought. The system is designed to handle normal situations. If there are issues they'll contact you.

0 coins

You're right, I'm probably making this more complicated than it needs to be. Going to file tonight.

0 coins

That's the right attitude. Most claims process without any major issues if you're honest and provide accurate information.

0 coins

Remember to save confirmation numbers and print/screenshot everything important. Washington ESD's system sometimes has glitches and having records of what you submitted and when can save you headaches later if questions come up.

0 coins

Good advice. I'll make sure to document everything as I go through the process.

The whole monetary determination process is so confusing. I wish Washington ESD would just send a simple explanation of how they calculated your amount instead of all this technical jargon.

0 coins

Right? I had to Google half the terms on my determination letter

0 coins

The Washington ESD website has some explanation of the benefit calculation but it's still pretty technical. The basic idea is they want to give you about 50% of your average weekly wage during your highest earning quarter.

Just remember you also have to pay federal taxes on unemployment benefits. State taxes too if your state has income tax. Plan ahead for tax season!

0 coins

Ugh more taxes to worry about. This whole thing is way more complicated than I expected.

0 coins

Yeah definitely have them withhold taxes if you can. I owed like $2000 in taxes on my unemployment income last year.

Update us when you figure out what happened! I'm curious if it was a bank issue or something on Washington ESD's end.

0 coins

Will do! Hopefully I'll have answers tomorrow after calling around.

0 coins

Good luck! Hope it's just a simple delay and your money shows up soon.

If all else fails and you need to talk to Washington ESD urgently, that Claimyr service is definitely worth trying. I was skeptical at first but it actually saved me hours of frustration trying to call myself.

0 coins

At this point I'm willing to try anything. The regular phone number is impossible.

0 coins

Yeah, I think I called over 100 times before giving up and trying Claimyr. Wish I'd found it sooner.

Just remember that Washington ESD looks at your ability to work, not your pregnancy status specifically. As long as your doctor hasn't restricted your work activities, you should be fine.

0 coins

That makes sense. My OB says I can work normally until at least 36 weeks, so I should be good for a while.

0 coins

Perfect! Just keep that documentation in case you ever need to provide proof of your work ability during the claims process.

0 coins

one more thing - make sure you understand the difference between being 'able to work' and 'available for work'. pregnancy might not affect the first but could impact the second depending on your situation

0 coins

Good distinction. 'Able' is about physical/mental capacity, while 'available' is about being ready to accept suitable work offers and start immediately.

0 coins

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm both able and available right now, so I think I'm in good shape to file.
