If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

has anyone had issues with washington esd saying you made too much in a quarter? they're questioning my overtime pay from last year

0 coins

Overtime pay absolutely counts toward your benefit calculation. If Washington ESD is questioning it, you'll need to provide documentation like pay stubs showing the overtime hours and rates.

0 coins

I had this happen too. Had to send them three months of pay stubs to prove the overtime was legitimate. Eventually got it sorted out.

The monetary determination letter you get after filing will show exactly how much your weekly benefit is and how many weeks you can claim. Keep that letter somewhere safe - you'll need it if there are any issues later.

0 coins

How long after filing do you usually get that letter? Through mail or email?

0 coins

Usually within 1-2 weeks of filing your initial claim. It comes through your online account and sometimes by mail too. Check your secure messages on the Washington ESD website regularly.

0 coins

Bottom line - if you're a W-2 employee and you lost work through no fault of your own, you should qualify for unemployment benefits. The process might take a while but don't let that discourage you from filing.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the helpful info! I'm going to file this weekend and see what happens.

0 coins

Good luck! And remember, if you run into issues getting through to Washington ESD, Claimyr can really help speed up the process of reaching an agent.

One last tip - if your claim gets approved, your weekly benefit amount will be based on your highest earning quarter in the past year. So if you had a really good quarter, that'll help your benefit calculation.

0 coins

That's good to know. I had one quarter where I was working with three different clients so hopefully that helps.

0 coins

Exactly! Washington ESD uses your best quarter to calculate benefits, so those higher earning periods really matter.

One more tip - when you file your initial claim, double-check all your employer information and wages. If there are errors, it can delay your claim for weeks while they sort it out during adjudication.

0 coins

Adjudication is when Washington ESD has to investigate something about your claim - like if there's conflicting information about why you lost your job or if your wages don't match what your employer reported.

0 coins

My claim was in adjudication for 5 weeks because my employer said I quit but I was actually laid off. Finally got it resolved but it was stressful.

0 coins

The whole process is confusing and stressful. I wish there was a simpler way to get accurate information about benefit amounts without having to navigate the Washington ESD phone system.

0 coins

That's why services like Claimyr exist - to help people cut through the bureaucracy and get real answers from actual Washington ESD staff.

0 coins

I'm definitely going to look into that if I ever need to deal with unemployment again. Thanks for mentioning it.

Final reminder - once you get your determination, you have exactly 30 days to file an appeal if you disagree with the decision. Don't let that deadline pass if you think they got it wrong.

0 coins

The 30-day deadline is firm. I've seen people lose their appeal rights because they waited too long, even by just a few days.

0 coins

This is so important. I almost missed my deadline because I was trying to gather more documents first. File the appeal immediately and worry about evidence later.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the helpful advice and support! I feel a lot better about the waiting process now. I'll definitely keep filing my weekly claims and update you all when I hear something. This community is awesome.

Keep us posted! We're all in this together

0 coins

You've got this! Stay positive and keep following the process

0 coins

Don't forget about the earnings reporting requirements. If you work part-time while on unemployment and don't report it correctly, that's grounds for denial and possible overpayment issues.

0 coins

Good point. I'll make sure to report everything accurately if I win my appeal.

0 coins

Exactly. Even small amounts of earnings need to be reported on your weekly claims. Better to over-report than under-report.

0 coins

The appeal process isn't that bad if you're organized. I appealed a misconduct denial and won by showing the employer's allegations were exaggerated. Just make sure you meet the 30-day deadline!

0 coins

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm definitely going to appeal and try to gather more documentation about the hostile workplace.

0 coins

Good luck! And seriously consider using Claimyr if you need to talk to Washington ESD about your appeal status. The regular phone lines are basically useless.
