If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

  • DO NOT post call problems here - there is a support tab at the top for that :)

Just to add - make sure you're honest on your applications about previous claims if they ask. Washington ESD has records of all your past claims anyway, so transparency is always the best policy.

Do they specifically ask about previous claims on the application? I don't remember seeing that question.

0 coins

They might not ask directly, but they have access to your full UI history in their system. Just be truthful if any questions come up.

Thanks everyone for all the info! Sounds like I was worrying about nothing. Going to go ahead and file my claim if I end up getting laid off. Good to know there's no arbitrary limit on how many times you can use unemployment benefits.

Good luck with your situation! Remember to file as soon as possible after your last day of work to avoid any delays in benefits.

Hope it works out for you. The system is there for exactly these situations, so don't hesitate to use it if you need it.

The key is to stay organized and keep good records of everything. File promptly, keep track of your job search activities, and don't hesitate to reach out for help if you need it. The system works, but it takes patience.

I really appreciate everyone's help and advice. This community is amazing!

Best of luck with your claim process! Manufacturing jobs can be tough to replace, but with unemployment benefits providing some financial stability, you'll have time to find the right opportunity.

Thank you! I'm optimistic about finding something good with a little time and effort.

One thing nobody mentioned - if you get approved for UI, you'll need to report any severance pay or vacation payout you receive. That can affect your benefit timing. Just something to keep in mind.

0 coins

I don't think I'll get any severance since I'm being fired, but good to know about vacation pay.

0 coins

Yeah, they have to pay out accrued vacation in Washington, so just make sure to report it when you file your weekly claims.

Bottom line - file your claim as soon as you're terminated, be completely honest about what happened, keep all your documentation, and don't panic if it goes to adjudication. Most non-misconduct cases get approved eventually, it just takes time.

0 coins

Thanks everyone for all the advice. Feeling a lot less panicked about this whole situation now. Will definitely file right away if/when it happens.

Good luck! The system can be frustrating but it does work most of the time for legitimate claims.

Keep checking both your online account and your mailbox. Some notifications come electronically, others still come as physical mail.

0 coins

Will do! I've been mostly just checking online but I'll keep an eye on the mail too.

Good luck with your claim! The waiting and uncertainty is tough but sounds like you're on the right track if you're seeing benefit amounts in your account.

Thank you! Everyone here has been so helpful. Really appreciate all the advice and support.

This thread has been super helpful. I was dreading having to deal with unemployment paperwork but it sounds much more manageable now. Thanks everyone!

That's what these forums are for! Good luck with your claim.

Feel free to come back if you run into any issues. There are usually people here who have dealt with similar problems.

Final reminder for anyone filing - make sure you understand the waiting week. Your first week of unemployment won't be paid, but you still need to file that weekly claim. It's just how the system works in Washington state.

0 coins

I was wondering about that! So I file weekly claims even for the waiting week?

0 coins

Exactly. You file for every week you're unemployed, but the first week won't result in a payment. After that, assuming you're eligible, you'll get paid for subsequent weeks.
