TWC automated line says issue with claim, but no details given. What could it be?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment claims. I called the automated line and it said there's an issue with my claim that needs to be resolved, but it didn't give me any details. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what the problem could be or how to get more information?

Ugh, I've been there. It's so frustrating when they don't give you specifics. Have you tried logging into your online account? Sometimes there's more info there about claim issues.

Yeah, I checked online but it just says 'pending issue' without any details. So annoying!

Classic TWC move 🙄 They love to keep us in the dark

Oof, that sucks. Might be time to bite the bullet and try to get through to a real person then. Good luck!

It could be a bunch of things tbh. Missing docs, identity verification, or maybe you reported some earnings they need to double-check. Without more info its hard to say for sure.

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out they needed additional proof of income from my last job. Took forever to get it sorted out. The system is such a mess rn 😫

how long did it take you to get it resolved?

It took about 3 weeks from when I first noticed the problem. Had to send in some paystubs and wait for them to process everything. It was a pain but I finally got paid.

Pro tip: If you need to talk to someone, I found a way to get through the phone maze. There's this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that dials the number, navigates the menu, waits on hold, and then calls you when a real person picks up. It costs $20 but it saved me hours of frustration. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I'm skeptical. How do we know this isn't just some scam?

I get the skepticism, but I promise it's legit. Used it twice now and it worked both times. Saved me so much time and headache.

Can confirm, I've used it too. Pricey but worth it if you're desperate to talk to someone.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with TWC for the past year: 1. Be persistent. Sometimes you have to call multiple times to get a helpful agent. 2. Document everything. Keep a log of when you call, who you talk to, and what they say. 3. Check your TWC inbox regularly. Sometimes they send requests for info there without notifying you. 4. If you can't get through on the phone, try reaching out on social media. Their Twitter team can sometimes help. 5. Don't give up! It's frustrating, but keep pushing until you get answers. Hope this helps, OP. Hang in there!

Not to be that guy, but are you sure you filled out everything correctly on your initial claim? I've seen people get hung up because they made a small mistake on the application.

I'm pretty sure I did, but now you've got me paranoid lol. Guess it couldn't hurt to double-check everything.

This whole system is rigged against us, I swear. They make it so complicated on purpose so people just give up. Don't let them win, OP!

Preach! 🙌 The hoops they make us jump through are ridiculous
