Unemployment claim stuck in limbo - any advice on getting it resolved?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my unemployment claim. It's been a while and nothing seems to be getting resolved. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get through to someone who can actually help?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been dealing with the same issue for months now. It's like talking to a brick wall sometimes.

Months? That's rough. Have you tried contacting your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things along.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20? That's kinda steep for something that should be free...

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

Have you tried calling right when they open? I've had some luck getting through that way.

The whole system is a joke. They need to hire more people or fix their tech. It's 2023 for crying out loud! 🤦♂️

Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your calls, emails, and attempts to contact them. 2. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 3. Use social media. Sometimes tweeting at them can get a response. 4. Contact your local representative or senator's office. They often have liaisons who can help with unemployment issues. 5. If all else fails, consider filing a formal complaint with the Department of Labor. Remember, you're entitled to these benefits. Don't give up!
