PA UC payment scheduled for today - will it hit my account tomorrow or Thursday?

I just checked my UC dashboard and it shows my payment date as today. I'm confused about when the money will actually be in my account. Is it usually the next day or does it take longer? This is only my second payment so I'm still figuring out the timing. I have direct deposit set up with PNC bank if that makes any difference. Really need this payment for rent that's already late!

It typically takes 1-2 business days AFTER the payment date shown in your portal. So if today is your payment date, you're most likely to see it in your account tomorrow, but it could be Thursday depending on your bank's processing times. PNC is usually pretty quick with direct deposits though.

Thanks for the quick reply! That's a relief. My landlord is being somewhat understanding but I definitely need it by Friday at the latest.

Good to know! I'll try to be patient but it's hard when you're watching your account like a hawk lol

The EXACT same thing happened to me last month! Payment date was Tuesday but didn't hit my account till Thursday!! I called PA UC like 50 times and couldn't get through to ask about it. Then I found this service called Claimyr that got me through to an agent in like 20 minutes. They have a demo video at https://youtu.be/CEPETxZdo9E?si=WL1ZzVZWG3KiHrg2 showing how it works. The agent told me payments can take up to 3 business days depending on your bank even though the dashboard shows it as paid. Saved me so much stress knowing it wasn't lost! Their website is claimyr.com if you need to talk to someone about your payment.

Is that service legit? Seems kinda sketchy to pay someone just to talk to unemployment...

@questioning_it - It's actually legit. I was suspicious too but they just help you bypass the phone queue. Was worth it when I had an urgent issue that needed fixing before my benefit year ended.

Thanks everyone! My payment just hit my account this morning, so it took exactly one business day after the payment date. I'll definitely remember that Claimyr service if I run into problems later though.
