When does unemployment numbers come out from NYS Department of Labor - need to track my claim status

I'm trying to figure out when the NYS Department of Labor releases their weekly unemployment numbers? My claim has been stuck in adjudication for almost a month now and I'm wondering if there's a pattern to when they update their systems or release data that might affect when my claim gets processed. Does anyone know if there's a specific day of the week when unemployment numbers come out? I'm hoping it might give me some idea of when to expect movement on my claim.

The NYS Department of Labor typically releases their weekly unemployment data on Thursdays, following the federal schedule. However, this doesn't directly impact individual claim processing times. Your adjudication delay is likely due to a specific issue with your claim that needs manual review - maybe a work separation issue or wage verification problem.

Thanks for clarifying! Do you think the Thursday releases have any connection to when they might clear the adjudication backlog?

been waiting 6 weeks for my adjudication to clear, don't think the weekly numbers have anything to do with individual claims getting processed unfortunately

If you've been in adjudication for a month, you really need to get through to someone at NYS Department of Labor to find out what's holding up your claim. I had success using Claimyr (claimyr.com) to get connected to an actual agent without waiting on hold for hours. They have a video demo at https://youtu.be/qyftW-mnTNI that shows how it works. Much easier than trying to call during peak hours.

I'll check that out - I've called so many times and either get disconnected or can't get through at all.

The unemployment statistics are released every Thursday morning around 8:30 AM, but like others said, this won't speed up your individual claim. You might want to check if you have any outstanding verification documents or if there's an issue with your employer's response to the separation notice.
