I'm trying to understand something about my unemployment claim with NYS Department of Labor. There was a question on my weekly certification that asked 'which of the following explains the potential effects of unemployment' and I wasn't sure how to answer it. I've been filing my weekly claims for about 6 weeks now and this is the first time I've seen this question. My claim status is still showing as approved but I'm worried I answered wrong and it might affect my benefits. Has anyone else seen this question before? What exactly are they looking for with this?
