How can we fix unemployment issues with NYS Department of Labor claim processing delays?
I've been dealing with my unemployment claim for over two months now and it's still stuck in adjudication. Every week I file my weekly claim but nothing changes. The whole system seems broken - I can't get through to anyone at NYS Department of Labor, the website crashes constantly, and there's no clear timeline for when things will be resolved. I'm not the only one dealing with this mess. How can we actually fix these unemployment processing issues? There has to be a better way to handle claims without people waiting months for benefits they're entitled to.

THE WHOLE UNEMPLOYMENT SYSTEM IS A JOKE!!! I've been waiting 3 MONTHS for my appeal hearing and nobody can tell me when it will be scheduled. They act like we're asking for charity instead of benefits we paid into through our taxes. NYS Department of Labor needs a complete overhaul - fire everyone and start over with people who actually want to help instead of making everything impossible.

wait so if your in adjudication you still file weekly claims?? i thought you only do that after your approved. im so confused about this whole process
