Will my transcript update while waiting for IRS verification letter? Control number letter mailed 02/05
Filed my return and got accepted on 1/22. Now I'm getting a verification letter with control number mailed on 2/5. Anyone know if my transcript will still update while I'm waiting for this letter to arrive? Getting anxious about the whole situation.

Yes, your transcript will continue to update even while waiting for the verification letter. The verification process is separate from transcript updates. Keep checking your transcript every Thursday/Friday morning when they typically update. Just be aware you won't get your refund until you complete the verification process.
