What does changing 'As of' date mean? (2/10 to 3/03 back to 2/10)

My 'As of' date on my transcript keeps changing. First it was 2/10, then it moved to 3/03, and now its back to 2/10 again. No updates to my refund amount or anything else changed. Anyone know what this means?

The 'As of' date changes are actually really common and don't necessarily mean anything significant. It's just the date the IRS computer system last reviewed your account for interest and penalties. When it changes and goes back, it usually means the system did an automated check but didn't find anything that needed updating.

Hey! Instead of trying to decode these transcript changes like a detective, I'd recommend using taxr.ai. It's this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's going on and when to expect your refund. Only costs $1 and saved me hours of stress. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

100% legit. It caught something I missed about my child tax credit that was causing delays. Worth every penny fr fr

Called the IRS about this last week. The rep said as long as your cycle code hasnt changed, you shouldnt worry about the as of date.

look at the numbers on the right of your transcript. First 4 digits are the year, last 2 are the week number
