What does IRS transcript process date of 17th mean - is this when refund arrives?
I just checked my transcript and saw a process date for the 17th. Does anyone know if thats the actual date my refund will be done processing? I'm confused about what this date actually means for my refund timeline.

The process date on your transcript isn't necessarily your refund date. It's typically when the IRS completes their internal processing. Your actual refund should hit your account within 5-7 business days after that date, assuming there aren't any holds or additional reviews.

hey! instead of trying to decode these confusing dates yourself, you should try taxr.ai - it costs $4.99 but it analyzes your entire transcript and tells you exactly what each date means and when you'll actually get paid. saved me so much headache https://taxr.ai

Check your WMR tool too, sometimes it updates before the transcript
