WMR bars disappeared and system shows amended return received on Oct 1, 2024 - but I never filed an amended return!

My Where's My Refund just went from showing one bar to no bars at all! Anyone else experiencing this? This cant be right, I need answers cause I'm stressing out rn. I just checked the IRS website directly at sa.www4.irs.gov and now instead of showing my refund status, it's showing information about my amended return! I never filed an amended return! It says: "Your amended return was received on October 02, 2024. However, it has not been processed. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please call 800-829-0582, extension 623, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will need a copy of your amended return." I don't understand what's happening. I filed my original 2023 tax return, not an amended one. How did I go from having a refund status with one bar to suddenly being in the "Where's My Amended Return" section? Is the IRS system glitching? Has this happened to anyone else? Should I call that number they provided (800-829-0582, ext 623)? I don't even have a copy of an "amended return" because I never filed one! I'm seriously freaking out because I was counting on my refund and now the whole status has changed. Help!
