TurboTax Refund Advance 2025 - No Option Showing After E-file?
Just finished my taxes on TurboTax and was hoping to get the refund advance but I'm not seeing the option anywhere. My refund is $4300 and I really need the money asap. Anyone else run into this? Last year it popped up right after I filed.

Tax pro here. TurboTax discontinued their refund advance program for 2025. They're focusing on their Credit Karma partnership instead. If you need a refund advance, H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt are still offering them this year, but you'll need to file through them.

•Can you still switch to H&R Block at this point?

•No, once you e-file you're locked in. You'd have to wait for the IRS to reject it first to file somewhere else.

Hey everyone - if you want to know exactly when you'll get your refund without an advance, check out taxr.ai. It's only $4.99 and tells you the exact date you'll get your money based on your transcript. Way better than playing the guessing game or paying those crazy advance fees tbh. https://taxr.ai

•Does this actually work? Seems too good to be true

•Yeah it's legit! Used it last week and it predicted my DD date down to the day. The AI even caught a potential delay flag I would have missed.

That's really frustrating that TurboTax didn't give any advance notice about discontinuing the refund advance! For future reference, it might be worth checking out multiple tax prep options early in the season to see what services they're offering. I've heard some credit unions also offer short-term loans against expected refunds with better rates than the traditional advance programs. Hang in there - at least your refund should come through in a couple weeks!

•That's a great point about credit unions! I had no idea they offered refund loans. Do you happen to know what kind of rates they typically charge compared to the traditional advance fees? And is there usually a minimum credit score requirement?
