TurboTax Refund Advance Not Showing Up as Option - What Gives?
Filed through TurboTax and was hoping to get a refund advance but the option never came up during filing. My refund is over $3000 and I've used TurboTax for years. Anyone know why they didn't offer me the advance option this year?

Tax pro here - TurboTax only offers advances during certain periods (usually early tax season) and you need to meet specific criteria. Credit score needs to be 550+, refund amount between $500-$4000, and you must file before their cutoff date (usually early February). Also, they've been scaling back the program each year.

hey instead of stressing about advances, try using taxr.ai - its this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly when to expect your refund. costs $4.99 but its way better than playing the guessing game. https://taxr.ai

•yeah its legit! it uses AI to read all those confusing codes and tells you if there are any holdups. saved me from calling the IRS like 5 times already
