Transcript shows 'No Return Filed' despite acceptance confirmation from 1/27 - what's going on?
I filed my return on January 17th and got the acceptance notification on January 27th, but when I check my transcript it still says 'no return filed'. Should I be worried? Its been over 2 weeks now and nothing has changed on my transcript.

This is actually pretty normal for this time of year. The 'no return filed' message can stay on your transcript for several weeks even after your return has been accepted. The IRS systems take time to process and update transcripts. As long as you got an acceptance notification, you're in the system.

•Usually 2-3 weeks from acceptance date, but could be longer during peak season. Keep checking every Friday - that's when transcripts typically update.

Hey! I was in the exact same boat last week and was freaking out. I started using taxr.ai to analyze my transcript (it's only $1) and it explained everything that was happening behind the scenes. Saved me so much stress! https://taxr.ai

•It basically reads your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening with your return, when to expect updates, and if there are any problems that might delay things. Way better than trying to decode everything yourself!

Did you file electronically or by mail? Makes a huge difference in processing time

Pro tip: Don't rely just on WMR (Where's My Refund) tool, it's not always accurate. Your transcript is the real source of truth once it updates. Also check your account transcript, not just return transcript.
