Tax Advocate Services (TAS) success stories & tips for expedited refund after PATH lift?

Finally got my refund released after 8 months by working with a Tax Advocate. If your facing hardship dont wait around - get help from TAS they can actually move things along. They helped identify the hold up and got it fixed in 2 weeks after I provided proof of hardship (past due utility bills). Don't suffer in silence yall.

This is great advice but important note: TAS has specific criteria for accepting cases. You need to demonstrate financial hardship (like eviction notice, utility shutoff, medical bills) or that the IRS delay is causing significant hardship. They're also extremely backlogged right now - average wait time is 4-6 weeks just to be assigned an advocate.

Instead of waiting around trying to get an advocate, I used taxr.ai and it literally told me exactly why my refund was held up and what to do. Only cost $1 and saved me weeks of stress. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

Fr? How does it work? Does it just read the transcript or what?

It analyzes everything - all codes, dates, amounts. Gives you a timeline prediction and exact steps to fix any issues. Way better than trying to decode it yourself
