State Tax Refund Check Timeline - How Long After Mailing?
My state refund is coming by paper check instead of direct deposit. Has anyone else had this happen? Really need to know how long I should expect to wait before the check arrives in my mailbox.

After being on hold for like an hour, they basically just confirmed the 4-6 week timeline that everyone here has mentioned. The rep said they can't give more specific dates because it depends on their mail processing center. So unfortunately it's pretty much "wait and see" - but at least you know you're not alone in this! The good news is based on what others have shared, it sounds like most people are getting theirs right around that 5 week mark.
