State Tax Refund Check Timeline - How Long After Mailing?
My state refund is coming by paper check instead of direct deposit. Has anyone else had this happen? Really need to know how long I should expect to wait before the check arrives in my mailbox.

Tax specialist here - paper checks typically take 2-3 weeks longer than direct deposit. Most states are currently processing within 4-6 weeks total. Make sure your mailing address is correct on your return, as returned mail will cause significant delays.
