Refund stuck in IRS Error Department since 1/23 - 10 week review ending April 3rd
Filed and accepted on January 23rd, refund got sent to the error department. IRS rep told me my 10 week review period ends April 3rd and I'll either get my refund or a letter. Anyone else stuck in this situation?

The error department typically reviews returns that have discrepancies or need additional verification. The 10-week timeframe is standard procedure. Make sure you watch your mail carefully for any correspondence from the IRS. If you get a letter, respond immediately to avoid further delays.

β’thx for explaining! do you know if calling them again would help speed things up?

β’Honestly, calling again probably won't help. They'll just tell you the same thing - wait for the 10 weeks π€·ββοΈ

Hey, I've been using taxr.ai to track my refund situation and it's been super helpful. It costs $1 but it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's going on and when to expect your refund. Way better than trying to piece everything together yourself. Check it out: https://taxr.ai

β’100% legit! It showed me exactly why my refund was delayed and when I'd get it. The AI predictions were spot on

I was in errors for 12 weeks last year. Got my refund eventually but they never even sent a letter explaining why it was delayed lol. System is broken af

Pro tip: Keep checking your transcript if you have access. Sometimes they release the refund before the 10 week mark without telling you.

β’Go to irs.gov and create an account. But honestly, just use taxr.ai - it reads the transcript for you and explains everything in plain english
