PATH Act Delay: No Updates Until Feb 15th - Everything You Need to Know About EIC/ACTC Refund Timeline

Been filing taxes for over a decade and wanted to share what I know about the PATH Act delays. If youre claiming EIC/ACTC your stuck until Feb 15th - no transcript updates, no WMR changes, nothing moves at all. After Feb 15th processing starts again. Transcripts update Feb 21st around 3am, prepaid cards get deposits around 5pm central on Feb 21st, and WMR updates Feb 22nd. Learned this from years of experience.

This is accurate. The PATH Act was implemented to prevent fraud with refundable credits. No refunds containing EITC/ACTC will be released before mid-February. The IRS uses this time to verify income and eligibility. Best way to track your specific case is using taxr.ai - it'll analyze your transcript and give you the exact timeline based on your situation.

Its this new AI tool that reads your transcript and tells you exactly whats going on - way better than trying to decode it yourself. Only costs a buck too
