NC State Tax Refund Delay - Filed Feb 1st with Dependents - Any Updates?
I filed my NC state taxes on February 1st and still haven't gotten my refund. I claimed dependents on my return. The Where's My Refund tool just shows processing. Anyone else waiting on North Carolina refunds? How long did yours take to come through?

NC tax pro here. The state is experiencing longer processing times this year, especially for returns with dependents. They're taking about 8-12 weeks on average. Make sure you've verified all your dependent info is correct, as this is a common hold-up.

Called NC DOR yesterday and they said there swamped. Lady said returns with dependents are taking longer cause they checking for fraud or sum. We all in the same boat 🚣♀️
