Illinois Tax Refund Start Date 2025? Anyone know when IL starts accepting returns?
Anyone from Illinois know when they start accepting state returns this year? Trying to get my refund asap and wondering if I should get federal done first or just wait and do them together. Last year was a mess with all the delays.

According to Illinois Department of Revenue, they'll start accepting returns on January 29th, 2025. They're syncing up with the IRS federal start date this year to streamline processing. You can file both together since the dates match.
