Illinois State Tax Return Still Processing After 30 Days - No Updates
Filed my Illinois state taxes 30 days ago and got accepted right away but when I check the status it still just says processing. Anyone else dealing with this? Starting to get worried since I was counting on this money.

Illinois tax specialist here. 30 days is actually within normal processing time for IL returns. The state quotes 2-12 weeks for processing. If you filed electronically and have direct deposit set up, you're likely looking at 4-6 weeks total. Paper returns take longer.

Make sure you're checking your status on the right website. The official IL tax site is mytax.illinois.gov not the federal where's my refund tool
