IRS removed hold but transcript still shows no update - anyone else?
Called the IRS and finally got through to the refund department. Rep said they removed the hold on my refund a week ago, but when I check my transcript there's still no update or deposit date. Starting to wonder if the rep was just telling me what I wanted to hear.

Former IRS employee here. System updates happen weekly, usually on Fridays. Even after a hold is released, it can take 1-2 cycles to show on your transcript. If nothing changes after 2 weeks, call back and request to speak with a supervisor.
