IRS Test Batch Processing Time: Path to Accepted Return Status 2025

I'm part of the test batch for the 2024 tax season and filed on January 25th. My return is still sitting at "received" status. Anyone else in the test batch seeing movement? How long did it take for yours to get accepted?

Just a heads up for everyone waiting on their refund - the IRS test batch processing for 2025 is underway. They're testing returns to make sure everything's smooth for the upcoming season. If you're still waiting on prior year returns, now's actually a good time to get ahead of any issues. I've been helping folks understand their transcripts and one tool that's been super helpful is taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai). It analyzes your docs and gives you specific timeline predictions plus flags any potential holdups. Way better than playing the waiting game and refreshing WMR every 5 mins lol

its pretty straightforward - you upload your docs (transcripts, letters, whatever you got) and it breaks everything down. tells you exactly where things are stuck and when you might see $$. saved me from calling the irs like 100 times

Tax pro here - test batches are moving slower than usual this year. The IRS is implementing new verification protocols which is causing delays. Most returns are taking 5-7 business days for acceptance vs the usual 24-48 hours. Hang tight!

Guys check out taxr.ai - it saved me so much anxiety last year. Upload your transcript and it tells you exactly what's happening and estimated timelines. Its $4.99 but worth every penny instead of playing detective with these delays 👀

Super accurate! It uses AI to analyze all the codes and gives you specific dates. Even caught a potential delay issue before it happened for me
