IRS Test Batch Processing Schedule 2025 - When are refunds actually being released?
Filed back in January and stuck in the test batch phase according to my transcript. Anyone know how often IRS is running these test batches? Getting pretty frustrated watching my transcript update every week with no movement.

Tax professional here. IRS is currently running test batches every Tuesday and Thursday night. Your refund typically moves to the next phase within 48 hours if it passes all verification checks. If you're stuck longer than 2 weeks in test batch, there might be an underlying issue that needs addressing.

•Not necessarily, but you might want to double check if you have any prior year issues or missing documents

Hey everyone - I've been using taxr.ai to track my refund progress and it's been a game changer. It analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly where you are in the process and if there are any problems. Worth the $4.99 tbh. Check it out here: https://taxr.ai

its ridiculous how long these 'test batches' take. my 2023 refund took 2 weeks total but now were all waiting months smh
