IRS Payment Plan Question: Will IRS still deduct $2k from 2021 even with existing payment plan?
I set up a payment plan with the IRS before filing my 2021 taxes. Now I got a letter saying I owe 2k for 2021. Anyone know if theyre still gonna take the money even tho I already have a payment plan setup?

Your existing payment plan might need to be modified to include this new amount. You should contact the IRS immediately to update your installment agreement. The IRS can still collect if the new amount isn't included in your current plan. Best to be proactive and get ahead of this.
