If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

2024 IRS Refund Stuck on "Received" Status for Over 21 Days - Filed January 27th with Tax Topic 152

I filed my 2024 taxes and was accepted on January 27th. When I check my refund status on the IRS website or IRS2Go app, it's still showing "Return Received" with the message "We have received your tax return and it is being processed." The exact status I'm seeing is: Refund Status Results: - Return: Received āœ“ - Refund: Approved ? (not checked) - Sent ? (not checked) And below that is this message: "We have received your tax return and it is being processed. If you filed a complete and accurate tax return, your refund should be issued within 21 days of the received date. However, processing may take longer under certain circumstances. Please check here or use our free mobile app, IRS2Go, to check on your refund status." Then there's a section called "Helpful Information" that shows "Please read the following information related to your tax situation: Tax Topic 152, Refund Information" At the bottom it shows "Your personal tax information" and "Tax Year 2024" I can see this is from the sa.www4.irs.gov website. It's been over 21 days now, and I'm still stuck at the received status - no "Approved" status yet. The bars haven't moved at all from the first check mark. Starting to get worried since we're well past the normal processing timeframe. Anyone else in the same situation or know what's going on? The IRS website just keeps showing the same status and referring me to Tax Topic 152, Refund Information. I've checked multiple times per day and nothing has changed at all.

Detailed breakdown: Your household income puts you in prime territory for max EITC. With 3 kids and combined income of ~$60.5k, you're looking at substantial credits. However, you'll owe ~$3,100 in SE tax on 1099 income. After factoring Child Tax Credits, EITC, and SE tax, $2,800 might be low. I'd strongly recommend using taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) to get an exact calculation - it'll analyze all potential credits and deductions. Just upload your docs and it'll give you a complete picture. Worth the $1 to know exactly where you stand.

Form 8962 Shows $0 Premium for Jan-Feb but $394 Monthly from Mar-Oct with $3,940 Total PTC - Why Zero Annual Premium?

I'm looking at my Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit breakdown and I'm really confused about these numbers. The form shows the Married Filing Separately Premium Tax Credit Exception Checkbox Indicator is 0, the FEDERAL POVERTY LEVEL CHECKBOX is marked "c", and my DEPENDENTS MODIFIED AGI is $0.00. My MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION FOR HEALTH CARE shows $0.00 as well. What's confusing me is the breakdown by month. The first two months (January and February) show $0.00 for all values: - JANUARY MONTHLY PREMIUM: $0.00 - JANUARY MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $0.00 - JANUARY MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $0.00 - FEBRUARY MONTHLY PREMIUM: $0.00 - FEBRUARY MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $0.00 - FEBRUARY MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $0.00 But then starting in March, I'm seeing consistent amounts throughout the rest of the year: - MARCH MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - MARCH MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - MARCH MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - APRIL MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - APRIL MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - APRIL MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - MAY MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - MAY MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - MAY MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - JUNE MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - JUNE MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - JUNE MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - JULY MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - JULY MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - JULY MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - AUGUST MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - AUGUST MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - AUGUST MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - SEPTEMBER MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - SEPTEMBER MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - SEPTEMBER MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - OCTOBER MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - OCTOBER MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - OCTOBER MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - NOVEMBER MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - NOVEMBER MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - NOVEMBER MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 - DECEMBER MONTHLY PREMIUM: $494.00 - DECEMBER MONTHLY PREMIUM SLCSP: $518.00 - DECEMBER MONTHLY ADVANCE PTC: $494.00 What's weird is that even though these monthly amounts are showing, the ANNUAL PREMIUM, ANNUAL PREMIUM SLCSP, and ANNUAL ADVANCE PAYMENT OF PTC all show $0.00 on the form. Yet my TOTAL PREMIUM TAX CREDIT shows as $4,940.00 and NET PREMIUM TAX CREDIT is also $4,940.00. I also notice I have no education credits (Form 8863 shows $0.00 for everything). Does this mean I don't have to pay anything for those months showing $494.00, or is this amount on top of what I already get? I'm particularly confused about why the first two months show $0.00 while the rest show these consistent amounts. Really need help understanding these Premium Tax Credit numbers and what they mean for my healthcare coverage. The form says "This Product Contains Sensitive Taxpayer Data" at the bottom.

Make sure your income hasn't changed much from what you reported. That's super important bc if you made more than expected you might have to pay some back.

IRS 2023 Audit Letter Requiring Response by November 9 - Can't Find Requested Documents After Viewing Online Account

Just checked my IRS account and saw I have an open audit for 2023. I'm freaking out a little bit. When I log into sa.www4.irs.gov/ola, I can see all the details about my audit status. It shows that the audit officially started on 05/29/2024, and they sent their most recent letter on 10/26/2024. Under the "Open Audits" section for Tax Year 2023, it clearly displays: - Start Date: 05/29/2024 - Letter Issued Date (Most Recent): 10/26/2024 - Response Due Date: 11/10/2024 - Additional Information Required There's a note that says "The IRS sent a letter requesting additional information. Please refer to that letter for detailed instructions." But that's the problem - I can't remember exactly what the letter said, and now I'm worried because the response due date of November 10th is coming up really soon. When I look at my IRS account online at sa.www4.irs.gov/ola, it just gives me this basic information without the specifics of what they actually need from me. The website shows the "Open Audits" section very clearly, but under "Additional Information Required" it simply states "The IRS sent a letter requesting additional information. Please refer to that letter for detailed instructions." Has anyone dealt with this before? What kind of info do they usually ask for in these audit letters? I'm getting anxious because I only have until November 10th to respond, and I want to make sure I handle this correctly. Should I call the IRS directly if I can't find the letter? Really need to figure this out ASAP.

Without seeing the actual letter its impossible to know what they want. Could be anything from W2s to receipts to dependent info.

Quick tip: if you upload docs through their online portal instead of mailing, the process goes way faster. Learned that the hard way last year
