IRS Check vs TurboTax Refund Advance - Credit Karma Closed Account, What Happens Now?
Filed with turbo tax and got a refund advance. Credit karma randomly closed my account and now IRS is saying theyre mailing a paper check. Had to do ID verify and everything. Anyone know if the check goes to credit karma first for the advance repayment or straight to me?

Tax pro here - The check will come directly to you. The refund advance is a separate loan agreement between you and the bank that partnered with TurboTax. They can't intercept an IRS check. However, you still owe that advance money, so you'll need to contact TurboTax support about how to repay it.
