IP PIN holder - still need identity verification for return?
I got an IP PIN this year and filed my taxes with it. Now the IRS is asking me to verify my identity. I thought having an IP PIN meant I wouldn't need to do this extra verification step? Anyone else dealing with this?

Different processes fam. IP PIN = fraud prevention. ID verify = proving ur really u. Its confusing but thats how they set it up
