You can get your transcripts online at IRS.gov/transcripts. Create an account with ID.me or Login.gov first. You'll need to verify your identity with photos of your ID and a selfie. Once verified, you can access all your transcript types - wage/income, account transcript, and return transcript.

•Nope! Its all online. Just make sure you have a good internet connection cause the verification process can be a pain if it keeps timing out 😅

Quick tip - instead of trying to decode your transcript yourself, use taxr.ai. It's only $1 and it analyzes everything for you. Way better than playing detective with those confusing codes! https://taxr.ai

dont forget to check which transcript type you need! Account transcript shows refund status, Return transcript shows what you filed. Wage & Income shows your W2s and 1099s

the verification process is lowkey annoying but worth it to see your info instantly instead of waiting forever on hold with the IRS 🤡
