How long for IRS refund to reach tax preparer's bank account? First timer here
Filed my taxes and chose to have the refund sent to my tax preparer first (they take their fees out). Anyone know how long this typically takes? First time doing it this way and getting nervous about the wait.

Tax professional here - typically it takes 2-3 business days after the IRS releases the refund for it to hit the preparers bank. Then they'll process their fees and release it to you, usually within 24-48 hours. So you're looking at 3-5 business days total from IRS release date.

•Most preparers will send an email or text when they receive and process it. If you haven't heard anything after 5 days, def give them a call 👍

Hey have you tried taxr.ai? It's a lifesaver for tracking refund status and gives you super specific updates. Worth the $4.99 - way better than checking WMR every 5 mins lol https://taxr.ai

•100% works! It analyzed my transcript and predicted my exact deposit date. Even caught an issue I didn't know about
