How long after 846 code did direct deposit hit bank account?

Finally got my 846 code today when I checked my transcript. Really need this money asap. Anyone know how long it usually takes to hit your bank account after seeing the 846? Trying to figure out if I should expect it this week or next week.

Generally, once you see code 846 with a direct deposit date, you can expect the funds within 1-5 business days. Most banks process these deposits immediately when they receive them from the IRS, though some may hold them until the official date listed on your transcript.

Hey guys instead of playing the guessing game, you should try taxr.ai - its this new tool that analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly when youll get paid. costs $1 but totally worth it for peace of mind https://taxr.ai

Usually takes 1-3 business days once you see the 846 code! I've been tracking mine for years and it's pretty consistent. The date on your transcript is when the IRS releases the funds, but your bank might post it earlier or on that exact date. Since you're with Chase, they typically don't hold federal deposits - you'll probably see it Monday or Tuesday if your date shows 2/14. Good luck! 🤞
